Rising Stars - event collateral
Rising Stars is an annual celebration of emerging artistic talent, featuring both a performance and an exhibition. The branding draws from the Bauhaus style, embracing rudimentary geometry and playful illustration.
For this project, I designed posters, flyers, digital media and advertisements, letterheads, postcards, e-blasts, and an event program.
This project was a gauntlet in design and a turning point for my practice and personal style.
Rising Stars - further exploration
I was commissioned to develop this event branding again and chose to pursue an opposite approach.
I opted for a more modern direction, drawing in part from the International Style, and utilizing a limited color palette with more rudimentary illustrations designed to complement the typography.
